Leading with Emotional Dynamics™ is a transformative leadership course designed to help leaders harness emotional intelligence for better performance. Built on the proven content of the Search Inside Yourself program—originally developed at Google—this course develops emotional intelligence through a unique blend of neuroscience, mindfulness, and practical application tools.
Leaders in this program learn to recognize, regulate, and respond to both their own emotions and others’. Through powerful mindfulness tools, they learn techniques to develop their self-awareness and emotional regulation skills. They also gain deeper understanding of themselves by understanding the transformative concept of Perception Box, to relate better to how others see the world.
With these skills, leaders can make more intentional decisions, strengthen relationships, and lead with clarity and confidence.

Prior to live sessions, participants engage in three short microcourses to cover key concepts in the course. Microcourses include:
Emotional Awareness (10 min.)
Build awareness of emotions and their impact, and begin building foundational techniques of emotional awareness to support your mood, focus, and relationships.
Managing Emotions (10 min.)
Learn how managing emotions impacts leadership effectiveness and three core tactics to use when navigating challenging situations.
Constructive Empathy (10 min.)
Learn and apply four core empathic skills to support team members through challenges—mindful listening, building emotional connection, maintaining boundaries, and offering compassionate support.

Personalized Application Challenges
Each leader chooses from a personalized list of leadership application challenges which enables them to apply the new skills to their day-to-day work (e.g. Making decisions under pressure). Participants apply these challenges over four weeks, with each taking about 30 minutes to complete.

Engage in a short post-program inventory to measure EQ growth at the individual and group level, and receive personalized recommendations to apply emotional intelligence practices.
