Q1. How is your EI training different from other programs?
A: Our program is uniquely built on neuroscience and attention practice (sometimes referred to as mindfulness). This unique approach helps people to not simply learn “what to do,” but rather, to gain a deeper understanding of their emotions, how they are affecting their work, and how to manage those emotions through attention training. With this deeper sense of self-awareness, they can then practice how they empathize with others’ emotions and choose actions that improve their interpersonal effectiveness.
Q2. Are your programs flexible?
Yes! We offer flexible training formats tailored to your organization’s needs, whether you’re looking to develop individual leaders, improve team collaboration, or enhance your entire workforce’s emotional intelligence. We also offer flexibility in modality, with options for in-person or virtual live learning, as well as micropractices, microcourses, and other digital learning.
Q3. Who is the training designed for?

Q4. How can I scale this program across the organization?
Our programs are specifically designed to scale, creating bigger impact as you create not just more emotionally intelligent individuals, but an emotionally intelligent organization. One of the important ways that we help you do that is by training teachers within your organization.
Q5. How does EI training integrate with my other development initiatives?
Emotional intelligence is a foundational skill that supports other skills training. For example, we know that leaders are able to perform behaviors like communicating, delegating, coaching, influencing, etc. significantly better when they are more aware of and able to manage emotions (their own and others').
One of the reasons our approach to training EI is particularly important is that we help people override what's called the "amygdala hijack." In short, the amygdala hijack is what happens in the brain when we are under stress, and it overrides more rational approaches in favor of doing what is quickest, easiest, and most familiar. If you don't help people learn to control this process, other training tends not to work because people ignore it as soon as they are under stress.
That's why we recommend positioning EI training as foundational to other development initiatives, although it can be a helpful tool at any time.
